"My mom is 80 years old. For the past 20 years she has suffered with collapsed vertebra and arthritis in the spine. Two years ago she started to get severe sciatic pain. Mom also has a heart condition. Her doctor recommended that she see a pain management specialist.

Dr. Hershman had given her a cortisone shot along with some treatments with the Alpha-Stim 100. After the shot wore off he continued with Alpha-Stim . He wanted to give her the least invasive treatment because she was on a blood thinner.

She was having good results with the Alpha-Stim, not only for her sciatic, but was treated for shoulder pain, knee pain and stiffness in several joints. These treatments were so successful that I purchased the machine for her use at home although it was costly and not covered by insurance. Most of her pain is relieved.

My sister also uses it for her backaches. Dr. Hershman is continuously giving her ways to use the Alpha-Stim. I highly recommend this machine to all my friends and family."
